Open and use TextEdit and create a text file

  5. Create and edit your text file
  6. And then go to File > Save to save your text file.
  7. Name your file and save it.

  • I transfered the files from my pc to my mac, but it does not show the save file when i open minecraft.i can go to finder, minecraft, saves, but when i open the 'saves' folder i see level.dat, level.datold, region, session.lock, any of that sound familiar to anyone and anyone know how to help me further?? I really want my old saves.
  • So do you have minecraft installed two times, once for linux once for windows? If so, the solution is simple. Copy/save your saves folder on the shared drive. Delete minecraft from both OS. Download it again but when it asks for install location put it on the shared drive. Then copy your saves folder back into minecraft folder.
